Research assistant position for a project on 19th-century criminal turned head of the Paris Sûreté and on his modern-day avatars in fiction, film, theater, and bandes dessinées. Researcher will compile information from scholarly and journalistic sources like Gallica (Bnf) as well as on-line popular culture. Hours variable and negotiable.
