Today the University’s collection includes approximately 8,000 artworks, most of which are displayed in buildings all around campus. The intern’s primary responsibilities will include the department’s annual inventory of artworks throughout campus and work on a special project documenting women artists in the University Art Collection. The intern will gain valuable practical experience and learn best practices for art collections management and registration while having a unique opportunity to explore Penn’s growing art collection.
