Faculty identify, support, and mentor undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni applying for fellowships described in CURF's Fellowships Directory and on our two-page description of fellowship opportunities. While we conduct extensive outreach to current students and alumni, faculty play a key role in supporting applicants by:
- Writing effective fellowship recommendation letters that provide examples of how applicants meet each fellowship's specific criteria
- Mentoring and advising fellowship applicants - Faculty interested in mentoring applicants for the Fulbright Award or serving as a member of Penn's Fellowships Faculty Review Committee for the Rhodes, Marshall, and Mitchell Scholarships should contact curf-ncf.@curf.upenn.edu.
- If you are open to sharing fellowship experience with potential applicants, please contact curf-ncf@curf.upenn.edu.
