Hi! I'm Hana Ahanger and I am  a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Health and Societies. My passions include science information design, female reproductive health, and public health policy. Currently, I am an undergraduate research assistant at the Kahn Lab in the Cardiovascular Institute at Perelman Medicine where I study angiogenesis mechanisms in developing placentas and associated structures. Besides research, I am on the design team of Synapse Healthcare magazine and Penn Science Undergraduate Journal.

I understand that getting involved in research on campus can be overwhelming at such a big university and people looking to get involved can put a lot of pressure on themselves. I want to help alleviate any worries and stresses that new students may have and share the knowledge I've been fortunate to gain!
