Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative assistant to join our team as a volunteer research assistant/quality improvement data specialist for an exciting quality improvement project. The project aims to leverage technology to improve clinician efficiency and effectiveness by equipping behavioral health clinicians with valuable resources for patient care. The project includes creating a catalog of behavioral health recommendations and developing a comprehensive electronic resource guide of behavioral health services at CHOP.
Key responsibilities include receiving advanced Redcap training, basic R training, conducting needs assessments, integrating resources into the database, and brainstorming mechanisms to support sustainability of these initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of research methodology in social science and medicine, proficiency in Excel, willingness to learn Redcap and R. Ideally, a successful applicant will also have working knowledge of Redcap and R, with desire to expand this skillset. Work may be able to be completed remotely; some in-person meetings may be required. Students will also have to register with the CHOP non-traditional personnel (NTP) office and complete CITI research training.
