Description:

I am a physician scientist with a focus on studying cancer cell therapies, specifically Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) and allogeneic transplant-based therapies in Hematologic Malignancies. I have previously worked in the lab and continue to work with lab-based collaborators at Penn to study new models of CAR T-cells with the aim of developing them for future clinical use in early phrase clinical trials. In addition - I collaborate with a number of other centers (Hackensack, Stanford, University of Miami,CIBMTR, MUSC) on studies looking at biomarkers and predictors of acute and chronic graft versus host disease in allogeneic stem cell transplant patients.
