Mentor Areas

Dr. Rodino has particular expertise in the development and application of advanced molecular diagnostics in the clinical laboratory, defining their clinical utility and employing them in a cost-effective manner to address current diagnostic gaps. His research interests include test development and optimal diagnosis for vector-borne pathogens and ocular infections, as well as the use of Next-Generation Sequencing and other advanced molecular diagnostics for pathogen detection, antimicrobial resistance prediction, and human bio markers of infection.
