Mentor Areas
Development and application of advanced magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and spectroscopy methods in studying brain tumors, and head and neck cancers. With a strong interest in translational research, I have been involved in implementing several advanced MR imaging techniques on clinical magnets. Some of these techniques include high resolution 3D-echoplanar spectroscopic imaging on 3T, single voxel 2D-correlation spectroscopy and quantitative susceptibility mapping on human 7T magnet, and several image processing algorithms for processing diffusion and perfusion MR imaging data.
Description:
To use interactive data language (IDL) and Matlab based in-house developed algorithms for image processing of acquired MR imaging data from brain tumor patients.
