Description:
Developing novel chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-expressing T cells (CARTs) to treat leukemia and solid tumors. The student will be able to gain hands on experience in culturing T cells, engineering T cells to CARTs, and testing the CART’s ability to specifically kill the cancer cells in vitro.

Prior coursework on molecular biology and cell biology is preferred.
