Mentor Areas
Our research is focused on laminitis, a disease of the horse foot. Using a multidisciplinary approach, our goal is to elucidate the mechanisms that lead to laminitis in different clinical situations in order to develop effective preventative and treatment strategies. Our studies are widely variable and include imaging, biomechanical, physiological, pharmacological, endocrine, pathological and molecular experiments both in the field on on the bench.
