Dr. Paniagua currently serves as Medical Advisor for Test Development Services at the National Board of Medical Examiners. His work at NBME includes the development of assessments of procedural skills, communication skills, interprofessional team work and other innovations in computer-based examinations. Dr. Paniagua practices consultative Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an adjunct appointment to the faculty of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the co-editor of the fifth edition of the UNIPAC palliative medicine book series.
