I work on a book project which is concerned with prison and exile literature in the Middle Eastern literatures with specific focus on the Persianate world. Students with research interest in literature, politics and ideology will be able to take part in this project.
Description:
Undergraduates with language skills in Persian and English can take part in my current research project on exile and prison literature in the Persianate world. Students with intermediate and advanced command of Persian and Arabic langauge will be asked to translate primary materials from Persian and/or Arabic to English. Students can also help with archival materials if interested.
