Pediatric Anesthesiology Safety & Quality

Description:

The EHR (electronic health record) generates in immense amount of data that can be extracted and studied for many purposes. I am particularly interested in reviewing large datasets for quality improvement purposes. Students will be expected to work with these datasets and review patient charts in the EHR in order to generate tables, graphs, and abstracts for presentation and/or articles for publications. Projects will vary. Interested students should contact me to discuss possibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive familiarity with or willingness to learn Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Completion of all CHOP-required training and clearances.
