Mentor Areas

The major goal of projects in the laboratory is to establish a detailed structural understanding of the mechanisms of TRP channels activation, desensitization and inhibition, which will help facilitate rational drug design for several human disease. We use cryo electron microscopy as a major tool to study TRP channels.
