Mentor Areas
Dr. Starbird’s work focuses on organization-level interventions to remove barriers to healthcare for women with substance use disorder and its associated infectious diseases, specifically HIV and hepatitis C virus. Her methods include implementation science, economic evaluation, and intervention testing in a variety of community-based settings.
Description:
***Dr. Starbird is on leave until November and will not be taking students until afterwards.***
Projects will vary. Interested students should contact us to discuss possibilities.
Current needs are primarily focused around cost analysis and economic evaluation.
