Mentor Areas
Dr. Song has led a research lab at University of Pennsylvania and CHOP, aiming to develop strategies to promote neuroregeneration. His lab combines injury models in fly and mammals, harnessing the power of genetics to identify novel regulators of neurodegeneration and neuroregeneration.
Description:
Use Drosophila, mouse and human organoid injury models to identify novel targets for treating neural injury and neurodegenerative diseases.
