Quality of cancer care in the US, with focus on outcomes and cost of care (value of care) – at the national level and at the level of Penn. Implementation and evaluation of care treatment programs in low-resource settings including Rwanda, Botswana and Haiti.

Description:

Projects involve innovative approaches to value, cost and quality of cancer care in the US, using University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) as a laboratory.  In addition, some projects revolve around innovative approaches to providing cancer care in resource-constrained systems in Africa and Haiti.
