My name is Alex Yim; I am a senior studying English with a concentration in literary theory and cultural studies. I work on Asian American and Asian Diasporic literature and have special interests in the history and theory of the novel, the environmental humanities, and critical university studies. In my junior year I was a Wolf Humanities Undergraduate Research Fellow and presented at both the Wolf Humanities symposium and the UC Berkeley Comparative Literature Symposium. I am currently a research assistant under Professor Paul Saint-Amour and enrolled in the English Honors Thesis program. Additionally, I am a transfer student, where CURF was vital in aiding my scholarly interests and pursuits—leading to me want to become an RPA.

For any students interested in English, literary studies, and the humanities more broadly, please feel free to reach out to me.
