Hi! My interests prior to university were in the realm of biological sciences but I wasn't too sure of what I wanted to study. Following some personal experiences, I became more honed into the neurosciences. From investigating how different neurons interact with one another through a myriad of mechanisms to understanding how the brain is able to communicate with the rest of the body bidirectionally, the implications are widespread. With such intricacies, there are many possibilities for differences in the nervous system to occur. My particular interests lie within neuropsychiatric disorders both on the molecular basis of those conditions as well as the social impacts affecting individuals such as stigma. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk about anything related to neuroscience, the sciences, or anything research-related that is on your mind!
