Coming into Penn, I had no experience with research. But I knew I wanted to get involved to enrich my undergraduate education. I found myself in a work-study position at the Kayser Lab during my fall semester of my freshman year.

My research interest is in neuroscience, and at the Kayser Lab, I use Drosophila as the model in studying the relationship between sensory processing and sleep disruptions in neurodevelopmental disorders.

As a CURF RPA, I hope to provide valuable insight into the research-searching process, from finding the right opportunities to excelling in the interviews. Whether you are unsure of where to start or are in need of tips for securing the right lab for you, I am open to talking about anything!
