Maya El-Sharif
My research interests are in two distinct realms. I enjoy researching the environmental factors that contribute to behavioral disorders. Independently, I enjoy researching the impact of different philosophies on domestic institutions, specifically how feminist political thought shapes policy formation and construction. I am eager to research throughout my time in the University Scholars Program but have pursued research prior in neuroscience and political science. Outside of research, I am involved in Mock Trial, Penn Debate Society, Policy Debate, Moot Court, CHAARG, Quaker Corner, the Undergraduate Assembly, Penn Fems, and PULJ.
