Hi, my name is Nilan Nandish and I am studying in the College of Arts and Sciences. Coming into Penn, I knew I wanted to get involved in research but needed to figure out where to start. With the advice and help from CURF and my RPA, I was able to get involved in two different labs. My research has been focused on predicting outcomes for ovarian cancer surgery, artificial intelligence/machine learning in radiology, and orthopedic engineering. Research has been an important part of my time at Penn where I have been able to delve deeper into my interests. I am excited to help support students in finding labs, projects, and opportunities for which they are most suited. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about research at Penn or just want to chat!
