Nitin Seshadri
As a Research Peer Advisor, I am excited to help you get involved in research. When I was a freshman, my RPA provided valuable mentorship, and the CURF Research Directory helped me find a research opportunity that I love.
My research interests are in neuroscience. I have been working in the Chen Lab since freshman year developing a rodent behavioral task to measure the effect of traumatic brain injury and determine whether brain organoid implantation can recover lost brain function. I enjoy conducting this path-breaking research.
Outside of research, I am a senior reporter and desk editor for the Daily Pennsylvanian and the Vice President of the Amateur Radio Club. I also do volunteer and community service work for various organizations in the University City area.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions you have about research, finding a lab, the neuroscience major, or pre-med at Penn.
