As an undergraduate, I have been interested in learning about different areas of research and exploring disciplines within the natural sciences. Instead of staying in one lab, I decided to move around until I found something that I enjoyed. I used that breadth of research experience for medical school and internship applications. I would love to help aspiring researchers with everything from initially getting involved in research to acquiring internships to leveraging research experience toward other goals.

  • FDA Pathways Intern. Used Python and AI/ML to probe genetic basis for asymptomatic COVID-19 infection at Sauna Lab. Shadowed lawyers and policy functions. Received grant from Franklin Opportunity Fund. Submitted two papers for publication.
  • Bristol-Myers Squibb Investigative Toxicology Intern. Designed gastric and colon cancer organoids toward recapitulation of tight junction functionality and pathology. Published review paper on organoids.
  • Lazar Lab @ Penn Medicine. Investigating role of heme feedback loop in circadian rhythm regulation.
  • Hua Lab @ Abramson Cancer Center. Investigating new tumor-associated antigens for CAR-T therapy.
