Hi! I'm Suya Que, and I am a senior on the pre-med track studying bioengineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I was lucky to have amazing research opportunities in high school, and I knew I wanted to continue doing research when I came to Penn! My research journey at Penn began when my CURF RPA recommended the PURM program for my freshman-year summer. Through PURM, I joined the Mathijssen Lab, and I continue to do research there now! My research is focused on the physics of microorganism behavior in confined environments.

I look forward to helping anyone that's looking to get involved with research at Penn, or anyone seeking advice on how to maximize their experiences. Please reach out if you have questions!
