This is a summer program run by the NIH Center for Molecular Studies in Digestive and Liver Diseases. It consists of an organized program of summer lectures and presentations combined with basic research experience in the laboratory of an expert investigator.

CHOP Research Institute Summer Scholars Program (CRISSP)

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Research Institute Summer Scholars Program (CRISSP) is a 10-week competitive summer internship program for undergraduate students interested in careers in the biomedical sciences. The internship is designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge, practical training in academic research, and critical exposure to pediatric-focused career trajectories under the direct mentorship of CHOP faculty. Full time immersion in a lab or research group allows interns to experience science and discovery first hand.

Center for High Impact Philanthropy

The Center for High Impact Philanthropy is a nonprofit research center formed through the collaborative efforts of the School of Social Policy & Practice and alumni of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The Center provides independent analysis, educational programming, and other decision making tools for donors, investors, and advisors around the world who are interested in moving from good intentions to high impact.

Association of Alumnae Rosemary D. Mazzatenta Scholars Award

The Association of Alumnae of the University of Pennsylvania has established the Association of Alumnae Rosemary D. Mazzatenta Scholars Award in the School of Arts and Sciences to recognize and support female undergraduates for academic achievement and demonstrated service to country, community, and family during the summer after their sophomore or junior year in the College.

Vagelos Undergraduate Research Grant

Deadline: 10/22/2023 (Tentative)

The Vagelos Undergraduate Research Grant (formerly the Nassau Fund Award) provides funds for students pursuing an independent scholarly project during the academic year. Funds can be used for costs of materials and supplies, toward travel costs, or for costs of the project. The Vagelos Grant is open to all undergraduates at Penn, and research in any field is eligible for support.
