A passerby, unaware of what was transpiring in Hill College House's Club Room on September 16th, would have been surprised to walk in and see dozens of students sitting quietly spellbound. These BFSers all came out to hear the mind behind the psychological concept of "grit" and the author of the eponymous New York Times bestseller, Professor Angela Duckworth, speak about grit, perseverance, the importance of self-reflection, and a course she will be teaching next semester entitled "Grit Lab".
Thank you to those of you who were members of that spellbound audience and made this event a great success! We hope to see you all at future BFS events.
