Marketing and Archives Intern

First Person Arts is seeking a motivated Marketing and Archives Intern to assist in organizing and cataloging our existing photo database. This internship presents a unique opportunity to work closely with both the Marketing and Archives departments as we strive to create a comprehensive system that improves accessibility and enhances our storytelling initiatives.

Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing and the Archivist, you will:

  • Organize and catalog: Review, label, and categorize existing photos in our database to ensure they are easily searchable and accessible for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Develop an organizational system: Create a user-friendly system of organization that aligns with our marketing goals and enhances the use of photos in our campaigns.
  • Collaborate on Marketing Materials: Work with the marketing team to identify high-impact images for upcoming projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in database management: Support the maintenance of our photo database, ensuring that new images are properly labeled and organized as they are added.
  • Research and documentation: Research best practices for photo management and organization, providing recommendations to improve our current system.
  • Create reports: Compile reports on the status of the photo organization project, including metrics on accessibility and usage.
