 We have an interdisciplinary team spanning computer science, computational biology, statistics/biostatistics, and specific scientific domains. 

Description:

The position focuses on biomedical AI research, emphasizing both methodological innovation and real-world impact. Key areas of interest include domain-specific foundation models, large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, and knowledge graphs.

Undergraduate research assistants will join an interdisciplinary team and collaborate on projects alongside faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students. 

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional potential and motivation for research in biomedical AI. A strong empirical background in computer science, computational biology, electrical engineering, statistics/biostatistics, or bioinformatics is expected. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the aforementioned research areas, strong programming skills, or familiarity with major biomedical data types (e.g., genomics, imaging, electronic health records).
