I can provide mentorship in the areas of research around the clinical impact of technology as well as in the area of clinical technology development and design.

Description:

There are a variety of research opportunities available, including multi-site studies, evaluating the effect of technology of clinical workflow, outcomes, and clinician and patient experience. Research would be tailorable to what the student is looking for but can include data collection, chart reviews, surveys of clinicians and patients, shadowing physicians and other health care providers on wards or in clinics, observing and recording their actions as well as interactions with technology and other tools followed by work on the statistical analysis and publishing of the work!

Preferred Qualifications

Basic use of technology tools such as online surveys, mobile devices etc.  Depending on research project, you may need to have completed HIPAA training.
