Mentor Areas

The Davidson Laboratory is focused on inherited genetic diseases that cause neurodegeneration including lysosomal storage diseases, and trinucleotide repeat disorders. Gene therapy and gene editing strategies to treat these disorders are developed and investigated molecularly and in animal models

Description:

There are several active areas of research, including projects with one or more of the following components: bioinformatic, sequencing, animal models, viral vectors, mice, zebrafish, cell culture, and CRISPR gene editing.

Preferred Qualifications

A commitment of 10 hours per week for the first semester, no previous lab experience is necessary.
