Description:

We serve the bioinformatics needs of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics in a number of ways.   We're an unusual group that consists almost entirely of math PhD's.

We develop tools and do deep-dive evaluation of data types.  We simulate data and perform methods evaluation.  We apply cutting edge methods in Omics to collaborations in many domains, mainly on mouse, human and fly.  We have particular expertise in RNA and RNA sequencing.  We work in pharmacology, circadian biology, active biosensor studies, aging, cardiovascular biology and pretty much anything is on the table as long as it's "translational".  See our publications here:

Computer Science, Bioinformatics or related major.

Working knowledge of Python, Statistics and Biology
