Dr. Atluri has a translational research lab focused on tissue engineering, progenitor cell mediated myocardial vasculogenesis and myocardial regeneration. His areas of interest are minimally invasive cardiac surgery, myocardial neovascularization, myocardial regeneration, and management of heart failure.
Description:
Utilize cell derived exosomes delivered via hydrogel into the heart muscle to enhance function and heart muscle growth. Responsibilities include running assays, conducting literature searches, designing experiments, and analyzing data.
