Mentor Areas

My group works on lensing and cosmology with the Dark Energy Survey and other galaxy surveys. Undergraduate projects may focus on the evolution and orbits of galaxies in galaxy clusters using simulations and data. With my astronomy colleagues I also co-advise projects in planetary science that involve analysis of space telescope data on exoplanets. Machine learning methods such as Convolutional Neural Nets are deployed in much of our data analysis.
