Mentor Areas
As Medical Director of the Penn Medicine Center for Evidence-based Practice (CEP), we focus on the use of systematic processes to synthesize healthcare studies/literature using rapid systematic review processes. Our reports are utilized by local health system leaders to develop policy. We also represent an AHRQ Evidence-based Practice Center and a Cochrane Affiliate Center for the US Network. Our work is published in both international databases and peer-reviewed biomedical journals.
Description:
Projects vary based on healthcare related questions being asked. Projects are systematic synthesis of healthcare evidence to inform Penn Medicine healthcare leadership policy and decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
Access to Penn biomedical library.
Capability for longitudinal curriculum exposure ("research for credit") and practical work related to evidence synthesis, quality improvement, implementation, and informatics.
