Mentor Areas

Clinical and education research.

Description:

As an obstetric anesthesiologist, Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and a trained simulation-based education facilitator, I have many overlapping areas of scholarly interest.

I am interested in developing clinical trials exploring the role of ultrasound, exploring best curricular strategies for training novice residents in obstetric anesthesia procedures, and projects related to improving health equity,

Students with interests in education, clinical or health equity research, skills in administering surveys and development, qualitative research, ethnographic studies and biostatistical skills could become involved in protocol development, become a co-investigator, assist with data analysis and the development of abstracts and manuscripts for publication.
