Mentor Areas

Dr. Dyment's primary research goals are directed towards understanding the genetic, cellular, and mechanical mechanisms that regulate normal development, disease, and repair of tissues in the joint (e.g., tendons, ligaments, menisci, cartilage, and bone).

Description:

We have several projects in cell lineage tracing, stem cell biology, mechanobiology, joint development, and tissue repair.

Preferred Qualifications

Students will assist in the research laboratory. Responsibilities might include specimen preparation, cryohistology, fluorescent imaging, cell culture, data analysis, etc.

Students in engineering or pre-medical background are preferred.
