Mentor Areas

My research focus is on using informatics and analytics to understand and improve perioperative patient care processes and outcomes. Other researchers in the Division cover a wide variety of research topics and studies.

Description:

Clinician-researchers in the CHOP Division of General Anesthesiology are exploring diverse research topics including pediatric difficult airway management, pediatric perioperative opioid use, EEG in infants under anesthesia, maternal-fetal anesthesia, neonatal perioperative outcomes, and others.

Projects vary and include prospective randomized trials and retrospective observational studies of electronic health record data.

Interested students should feel free to contact me for more information. While I may not have a suitable project, I will gladly share CVs and contact information with our research manager to try to help find a researcher in the Division who has a project that aligns with a student's interests and availability.
