Mentor Areas

My research emphasizes the development and/or application of novel optical imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) methods to interrogate tissue/cell metabolism and redox state in cancer, aging, and Alzheimer's disease in order to develop novel biomarkers for disease diagnosis and treatment response. The research work in my group is cross-disciplinary involving collaboration with biologists, chemists, engineers, physicists, statisticians, and physicians.

Description:

Research assistant in 1) Optical redox imaging of cancer cells or neurons; 2) Magnetic resonance spectroscopy measurement of redox state in mouse brains with Alzheimer's disease or tumors; 3) Imaging/spectroscopy data modeling and analysis. Specific projects will vary depending on situations.
