Aiwen Li

Hello! I’m a  junior at Wharton concentrating in statistics with a minor in mathematics. My research interests lie in mathematics and statistics along with their applications in various fields. I am currently working on a project to study opportunities for career advancement of frontline workers. This past summer, I was a student researcher in the Wharton Sports Analytics and Business Initiative (WSABI) Summer Research Lab, where I worked on projects applying stats/machine learning methods to analyze tennis serve patterns.

I am happy to help any aspiring researchers by matching their passions with research opportunities both on and off campus. There are many paths available for those who are interested in research, whether it be cold-emailing professors, applying to specific programs, or independently pursuing original research ideas.
