Bonnie Chen
Hi everyone! I'm Bonnie and I'm a current junior in the VIPER program studying Materials Science and Engineering and Physics. My current research at the Device Research and Engineering Lab under Prof. Jariwala deals with synthesizing and analyzing novel optical materials for applications such as lasers and photodetectors. While my current research is experimental, I also have experience in computational physics research through a summer research assistantship under Prof. Charlie Johnson.
If you're interested in any form of engineering or science research, there are a couple ways that I could help you out! I can help you find research labs, contact professors, and evaluate whether they are a good fit for you. Additionally, if you have any questions about energy research, materials research, or some intersection of physics, electrical engineering, and materials science, I would be happy to answer them.
