Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I’m a fourth-year majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology. I conduct research with Dr. Pellecchia at the Penn Center for Mental Health, studying the efficacy and implementation of Project ImPACT, a caregiver-mediated autism therapy, in Philadelphia’s Early Intervention Program. I primarily perform behavioral coding, where I evaluate how providers and caregivers use techniques in therapy and play sessions. I’ve also practiced therapy with children for the past two summers at the Early Childhood Program in the Hall-Mercer Community Behavioral Health Center of Pennsylvania Hospital, our affiliated treatment center.

I’ve found it very interesting and rewarding to analyze and support evidence-based interventions for children in the Philly community. As an RPA, I look forward to helping you find research experiences that excite you! There are so many unique opportunities at Penn, and I truly believe participating in research can enhance everyone’s journey. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like advice on getting started or have any questions!
