CURF’s Fellowships Directory is a tool for Penn students and alumni to familiarize themselves with a broad range of fellowship opportunities. Keep in mind, it is not an exhaustive list. Boren Undergraduate Scholarship (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 12/10/2024 (Tentative)Under the auspices of the National Security Education Program, the Boren Scholarship supports undergraduate study abroad focusing on geographical areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to US national security. These US government grants entail a service obligation.
Cultural Vistas Fellowship
Deadline: 12/11/2024 (Tentative)A fully-funded fellowship program affording underrepresented U.S. university students the opportunity to intern for eight weeks with organizations in Argentina, Germany, or Southeast Asia.
Davis Projects for Peace (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 01/17/2025 (Tentative)The Kathryn Wasserman Davis 100 Projects for Peace program invites undergraduates (including graduating seniors) to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer, anywhere in the world. The projects judged to be the most promising and valuable will be funded at $10,000 each.
Blossom Hill Fellowship (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 01/18/2025 (Tentative)Udall Scholarship (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 01/30/2025 (Tentative)$7,000 scholarships to college sophomores and juniors engaged in leadership, public service, and commitment to EITHER 1) conservation and environmental science, policy, or activism OR 2) Native American or Alaska Native students pursuing health-related careers or policy issues in Indian country
Humanity in Action Fellowship
Deadline: 02/04/2025 (Tentative)Fellows first participate in an intensive three-week summer educational program providing a country and context-specific curriculum (currently: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, the Netherlands, or Poland) that examines historical and contemporary challenges to human rights, pluralism and equality. Then, they embark on developing Action Projects in their own communities.
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship in South Asian Languages (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 02/07/2025 (Tentative)The Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship offers academic year and summer fellowships to undergraduate and graduate students with training in specific languages and related areas or international studies, and who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship in East Asian Languages (Tentative Deadline)

Rangel Summer Enrichment Program
Deadline: 02/15/2025 (Tentative)The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program is a six-week summer program designed to provide undergraduate students with a deeper appreciation of current issues and trends in international affairs, a greater understanding of career opportunities in international affairs, and the enhanced knowledge and skills to pursue such careers.
