The Gelfman International Summer Fund has been established by Robert W. Gelfman (Wharton ’53) to create opportunities for personally enriching international research and/or service for students in the summer between their junior and senior year. The Fund is expected to cover two or three students each summer. Penn juniors from any of Penn’s undergraduate schools and in any discipline are eligible.

Funding for independent research projects over the summer conducted by undergraduates who receive financial aid from Penn and have a family total income between $75,001 and $140,000 (as determined by SRFS).

The Summer Internship Program at the National Gallery is crafted to provide a deep dive into the world of art through hands-on experience.

Women+ and Mathematics (W+AM) is an annual program with the mission to recruit and retain more women in mathematics through collaborative research and mentorship. W+AM is open to all that support its mission regardless of gender.

The Department of Commerce Internship Program will expose students to opportunities in the Federal Government and the potential to find passion in a career in public service through working with a political appointee in one of several DOC offices.

The NARA Voluntary Internship Program is an unpaid occupational experience through the National Archives designed to complement formal academic training in a wide range of disciplines.

The Institue for Pure and Applied Mathematics at UCLA offers several versions of its Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) program, a summer research experience for students of math and related disciplines. 

The Summer Undergraduate Applied Mathematics Institute (SUAMI) is an eight-week summer research program for undergraduate students interested in applied mathematics hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.

The U.S. Census Bureau's Pathways Internship Program provides paid work experience to students who are in high school or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an accredited college or university (including Community College).
