Below is a list of Fellowships that do not explicitly require US citizenship. Some may be open to applicants from any country, others are open to international students from selected countries, and some require applicants to be either US Permanent Residents or be in the process of seeking to remain in the US. See the eligibility requirements of each program. Fellowships staff are happy to assist you in applying to any of these opportunities.

Huntington Public Service Award
Deadline: 01/10/2025$30,000 award for graduating college seniors to implement a public service project anywhere in the world.
Urban Fellows Program (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 01/13/2025The Urban Fellows Program is a nine-month fellowship in New York City that combines work in Mayoral offices and City agencies with volunteer service opportunities and a seminar series that explores current urban issues impacting public policy.
Coro Fellowship (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 01/13/2025 (Tentative)The Coro Fellows Program develops emerging leaders by providing hands-on experience for recent college graduates working with urban institutions in one of five US cities (Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, or St. Louis).
Davis Projects for Peace
Deadline: 01/15/2025The Kathryn Wasserman Davis 100 Projects for Peace program invites undergraduates (including graduating seniors) to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer, anywhere in the world. The projects judged to be the most promising and valuable will be funded at $10,000 each.
Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship
Deadline: 01/16/2025Funds students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems.
Emerson National Hunger Fellows
Deadline: 01/17/2025The Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program participants gain field experience fighting hunger and poverty through placements in community based organizations across the country, and policy experience through placements in Washington, DC.
Udall Scholarship
Deadline: 01/28/2025$7,000 scholarships to college sophomores and juniors engaged in leadership, public service, and commitment to EITHER 1) conservation and environmental science, policy, or activism OR 2) Native American or Alaska Native students pursuing health-related careers or policy issues in Indian country
Josephine de Karman Fellowship
Deadline: 01/31/2025Provides support for the final year of a PhD for students enrolled at a university in California
President's Innovation Prize
Deadline: 02/02/2025Provides a graduating Penn senior, or group of graduating seniors, $100,000 to envision and implement an innovative commercial venture that makes a positive difference in the world.
President's Engagement Prizes
Deadline: 02/02/2025 (Tentative)Provides a graduating Penn senior, or group of graduating seniors, $100,000 to develop and implement a promising local, national, or global engagement project during the year after graduation.
