The Gelfman International Summer Fund has been established by Robert W. Gelfman (Wharton ’53) to create opportunities for personally enriching international research and/or service for students in the summer between their junior and senior year. The Fund is expected to cover two or three students each summer. Penn juniors from any of Penn’s undergraduate schools and in any discipline are eligible.

The College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania offers travel grants to support undergraduate students who are presenting original research at academic conferences. These grants help offset travel-related expenses and provide students with the opportunity to engage with broader academic communities in their field.

The Howard C. Herrmann Student Research Fellowship provides opportunities for undergraduate students to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer on a cardiovascular research project in one of Penn's laboratories or clinical research groups.

Funding for independent research projects over the summer conducted by undergraduates who receive financial aid from Penn and have a family total income between $75,001 and $140,000 (as determined by SRFS).

The goals of the JGS Fellows Program are to elevate photography and digital media as pathways for undergraduate students to pursue their careers and to make a difference in their communities.

The Fund for Latino Scholarship through the American Political Science Association (APSA) is designed to encourage and support the recruitment, retention, and promotion of political scientists students and scholars who study and research Latina/o politics (especially students and tenure track junior faculty).

Research Assistant interns have the unique opportunity to work directly with experts at the Wilson Center, as they examine issues of contemporary public policy or explore topics that provide the historical context behind today’s pressing policy debates.

The Summer Internship Program at the National Gallery is crafted to provide a deep dive into the world of art through hands-on experience.

The Undergraduate Summer School (USS) at Park City Mathematics Institute (PCMI) provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to learn some fascinating mathematical ideas in a setting that allows them to interact with mathematicians at all levels. 

Women+ and Mathematics (W+AM) is an annual program with the mission to recruit and retain more women in mathematics through collaborative research and mentorship. W+AM is open to all that support its mission regardless of gender.
