Critical Language Scholarship
Deadline: 11/19/2024The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully funded summer overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students.
Trudeau Scholarship
Deadline: 11/25/2024Provides three years full funding for a doctoral degree on one of four program themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, and People and their Natural Environment.
Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship
Deadline: 11/25/2024Funds graduate students who are currently enrolled in and pursuing a graduate degree in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture, or other formal professional training) at a designated institution of higher learning located in the United States of America.
Goldwater Scholarship
Deadline: 11/26/2024Up to $7,500 toward educational expenses for sophomores and juniors engaged in research and planning to pursue a STEM PhD or master's degree (Penn nomination required)
Yenching Academy
Deadline: 12/01/2024Funds a full-time Master of Arts in China Studies at Peking University in Beijing in: Literature and Culture; History and Archaeology; Philosophy and Religion; Politics and International Relations; Economics and Management; or Law and Society. Courses available in both English and Chinese
The Science, Mathematics And Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program
Deadline: 12/01/2024Provides tuition support to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program
Deadline: 12/02/2024The NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program is an accelerated, individualized doctoral training program for outstanding science students committed to biomedical research careers.
James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
Deadline: 12/02/2024The James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program offers up to twelve one-year internships at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Gaither Junior Fellows assist with research and editing for Carnegie senior scholars in areas including nuclear nonproliferation, foreign policy, democracy and governance, technology policy, economics, and regional studies.
Truman Scholarship
Deadline: 12/03/2024$30,000 toward graduate study for college juniors who are “change agents" committed to improving how nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or educational institutions serve the public who plan to pursue careers in government or public service (broadly defined) (Penn nomination required)
Boren Undergraduate Scholarship (Tentative Deadline)
Deadline: 12/10/2024Under the auspices of the National Security Education Program, the Boren Scholarship supports undergraduate study abroad focusing on geographical areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to US national security. These US government grants entail a service obligation.
