Perry World House Undergraduate Essay Prize

Perry World House (PWH), the University of Pennsylvania’s hub for global policy research, offers an annual Undergraduate Essay Prize of $1,000 in recognition of outstanding student writing on how policy can be used to tackle global policy challenges.

Dr. Rosane Rocher Prize for Best Undergraduate Essay in Asian American Studies

The Dr. Rosane Rocher Prize for Best Undergraduate Essay in Asian American Studies is offered every year for papers submitted from an ASAM course taken during the prior calendar year.

Pulitzer International Reporting Student Fellowship

The Pulitzer International Reporting Student Fellowship provides funding for an undergraduate student to pursue international journalism within South Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East or North Africa.

Sarah Katz Award

The Sarah Katz Award funds projects to further opportunities for heart literacy with an emphasis on heart health.

Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship

The Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship is designed to encourage the study of less commonly taught languages by providing undergraduate and graduate recipients with a stipend and funding to take courses in South Asian Language and Area Studies for either a full year or as part as a summer intensive language program.

Mind Your Brain Foundation Fellowship

Traumatic brain injury research fellowship available to Penn undergraduates with career interests related to traumatic brain injury research. Do not need to have a project or mentor already established. Fellowship includes a $2,500 award.
