Gelfman International Summer Fund

The Gelfman International Summer Fund has been established by Robert W. Gelfman (Wharton ’53) to create opportunities for personally enriching international research and/or service for students in the summer between their junior and senior year. The Fund is expected to cover two or three students each summer. Penn juniors from any of Penn’s undergraduate schools and in any discipline are eligible.

Project in Humanities, Urbanism, and Design

Deadline: 09/04/2025 (Tentative)

Small research grants will be awarded to support interdisciplinary design/humanities projects undertaken by undergraduate and graduate students in humanities and design disciplines that focus on the built environment. Eligible research must draw from both humanities and design disciplines.

Joy of Giving Something (JGS) Fellowship

The goals of the JGS Fellows Program are to elevate photography and digital media as pathways for undergraduate students to pursue their careers and to make a difference in their communities.

Fund for Latino Scholarship

The Fund for Latino Scholarship through the American Political Science Association (APSA) is designed to encourage and support the recruitment, retention, and promotion of political scientists students and scholars who study and research Latina/o politics (especially students and tenure track junior faculty).

Sarah Katz Award

The Sarah Katz Award funds projects to further opportunities for heart literacy with an emphasis on heart health.

Millennium Oceans Prize

Deadline: 03/30/2026 (Tentative)

The Millennium Oceans Prize supports students passionate about conserving, protecting, and sustainably using oceans, seas, and marine water and life.

Paul and Kathleen Barthmaier Award

Deadline: 03/17/2026 (Tentative)

Financial support to assist with travel expenses related to intellectually enriching undergraduate research or fellowship experiences.

SNF Paideia Fellowship

Deadline: 02/10/2026 (Tentative)

The fellowship is a unique, three-year program that bridges students’ academic interests with experiential development of skills essential to becoming an engaged global citizen both while a student at Penn and beyond.
